About Me: My name is Debby and this is my mid-life MLIS! I live in northern New Jersey and work as a YA librarian at a small, suburban library. I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1984 with a BFA in Photographic Illustration. I worked in various aspects of the photo industry for over 30 years. About eight years ago, I started working as a circulation assistant at my local library. I instantly fell in love and finally discovered what I wanted to be when I grew up! I started working on my MLIS part-time at San Jose State University online, and I am about half way through the program. I have been married for 32 years, have a 29 year old daughter, and two rescue mutts, Piper and Jasper. I love to read, travel, spend time with my family, and talk about books with anyone who will listen! Oh, and I’ve been told that I’m obsessed with my dogs! And Harry Potter. (I’m a cross between a Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff).
